Literacy in Health – Impact on Pharmaceutical Care

Over the past century literacy of general population increased significantly, this aspect is utterly important in the era of technology when access to information is unlimited, thus allowing patients to inform themselves from different sources, not always accurate. This workshop is aimed to untangle this social phenomenon and help understand how a health-care professional should communicate and include the patient in the process of the medical act.
